In Instant Crush, Salvator Mundi paintings, including Leonardo Da Vinci's, are subjected to a process of translation into a color graph known as Lumetri Scopes. This graph is designed to analyze the colour balance of the image, rather than the image itself. As a result, the artwork exists in an intermediate state between data and image, offering a unique perspective on the role of color.
